If you're like me, you love birthdays, yours or those of others, it's an opportunity to celebrate with friends and family and disconnect for a few hours from our little worries and what better way to celebrate than with a super original birthday cake that will amaze the gallery?
So I did some research and gathered the 10 most beautiful birthday cakes for you.
1 - In first position, we have the unicorn cake, I know, I know, you have already seen it, but it must be said that it remains one of the most beautiful. It's quite simple actually, but I think that's what makes it beautiful, the super cute eyes that evoke a caring little unicorn and the mane made up of flowers are just enough to create the unicorn silhouette. I think it would be less beautiful if we added too much detail to it, it's perfect like that. What do you think ?
2 - In second position, I chose the quilted pearl cake in pink pearly sugar, I think I have a penchant for simple but sophisticated cakes since this one is not so complicated either and yet, I really like it with its immaculate sugar paste.
3 - My third choice is the nemo cake, it is a lot more elaborate than the others, it really looks like it took a long time to prepare. I love this one because it reminds me of my childhood when I used to watch Nemo on repeat, if you remember correctly it was one of the first big budget cartoons almost aimed at the whole family rather than just kids . (or maybe it was The Lion King the first...)
In any case, this cake is certainly beautiful, nothing to complain about.
4 - Then this one is simply breathtaking! The pink and turquoise leopard cake, I really like it and I think it's the one I'll choose to order for my next birthday. I hope it is as good as it is beautiful. What do you suppose turquoise sponge cake tastes like :)??
5 - The Tiramisu cake, I chose this one for the taste, because I love tiramisu, yes, yes, I know, it's supposed to be a list in relation to the design, but I made a small exception, and then it is also quite beautiful, don't you think?
6 - The matcha cake, for a zen and relaxed atmosphere. I'm enjoying this one because I know it will make me look a bit more modern and sophisticated in front of my friends. (do not judge me !!!!)
7 - The Gothic: So this one suits me perfectly, I love it with its black ganache, it really has class and the color palette of the sponge cake is really well chosen. Congratulations to the pastry chef responsible for this little marvel.
8 - I'm including this one, because it looks like it took a really long time to make, the pumpkin cake for a birthday party that would fall around February.
9 - And for the holidays that would fall around December, here is the Christmas cake with green and white ganache, really great!
The fir trees glued to the side are made of sugar paste and lightly dusted with icing sugar to simulate snow. The details are really great on this one and I can imagine myself sharing it with my family over Christmas and making some really great memories.
10 - Finally, one of my favourites, the confetti cake, it has always seemed so festive to me and this model is particularly successful with the pink ganache and the pink syrup flowing in large drops on the side.
